Heartwarming Rescue: Officer Saves Pup on Busy Highway

A California patrolman performs a heartwarming act after a heartbreaking discovery.

The California Highway Patrol posted a photo showing a tiny chihuahua stranded on the median of a busy highway.

The officer tried to get the dog using a treat, and luckily the dog was picked up and taken by Contra Costa County Animal Control, according to New York Daily News.

The patrol tweeted a photo of the dog and the patrolman.

The pup wasn’t hurt and is waiting to be adopted.
