Shooting Leads Cleveland Police to Wanted Felon

CLEVELAND – A shooting in East Cleveland Tuesday led police to a wanted felon.

Police were called to E. 150 Street and Judson Drive for the report of a man shot. When officers arrived they found the victim, Tavon Hogan, 18, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Witnesses told police that Hoagn was involved in a fight with another man who shot him.

According to police, Hogan was uncooperative. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

Police discovered Hogan had felony warrants in connection with a burglary. He was arrested and will remain in police custody while he receives medical treatment.

No arrests have been made in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call 216-623-5418.
