Man Arrested at Hotel in Heroin Abuse Investigation

WICKLIFFE, Ohio — A Cleveland man was arrested Friday after a criminal investigation into heroin abuse in Lake County.

According to the Lake County Narcotics Agency, Christopher A. Graham Jr., 30, was charged with trafficking in heroin.

He was arrested at the Fairbridge Hotel, 28600 Ridgehills Drive, Wickliffe. During the incident, officers tried to apprehend Graham, who entered a room at the hotel.

After a brief standoff, police negotiators were able to convince the suspect to surrender peacefully.

Officers seized about five grams of heroin, eight grams of cocaine, $4,500 in cash, a rental car and other drug paraphernalia at the scene.

Additional charges are pending, according to authorities.
