It’s called the “finger trap test.”

According to Daily Mail, it’s social media’s newest version of the “thigh gap” test, which involves standing with your feet together — if your thighs don’t touch, you pass.

This “finger trap” test involves placing your index finger against your chin and nose. If your lips touch your finger, you’re considered beautiful.

According to Daily Mail, the trend originated in China and uses theories used by cosmetic surgeons where the perfect face means the nose, lips and chin are in a perfect line.

Doctors do emphasize that the “finger trap test” is not official — each race has too many characteristics and traits for such a simple test.
