Study: People Will Go the Distance for Their Phones

You’ve already left home and then you realize something’s missing. Something important. Something some people just can’t live without. Your cell phone.

New research found three in 10 people would return home, no matter the distance, to retrieve their mobile device, according to USA Today citing a survey by the Center for the Digital Future.

The survey also found 28 percent would go back for their phone if it took 10 minutes or less.

One thousand people were polled for the study in August 2013.
