CLEVELAND — The Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is taking a trip down memory lane.

Many Northeast Ohioans may remember the iconic cardboard ovens, which served special meals at The Silver Grille in the Higbee Building in the 1970’s-1980’s.

On May 18, the casino will bring back the cardboard ovens for a special brunch as part of the casino’s Then & Now promotion.

Adults 21 and over can join in for brunch at The Silver Grille, which is normally only used for private events, for $29.99.

The Silver Grille has been restored to its original look of the 1930s, with green walls, metallic trim and lighting fixtures to match those when the building opened in 1931.
