CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A man who police say robbed a Pizza Hut delivery man at gunpoint and then took the food to his father’s apartment was arrested Friday afternoon.

Reginald Clark, 24, is charged with Aggravated Robbery.

The victim said he was responding to a delivery call on Mayfield Road Wednesday night, but was not given an apartment number. When he reached the apartment complex, he got out of his vehicle to search for the caller’s name on the mailboxes.

As he approached the main door of the apartment building, the victim said he noticed a man standing in the vestibule. The man reportedly told the suspect, “That’s my pizza,” pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Police were able to follow a tip from a resident to an apartment, where they found the suspect’s father inside with the pizza order.

An employee of the apartment building told police that Clark robbed someone else that morning, but the victim decided not to report the incident because Clark reportedly returned later and apologized, according to the police report.
