Cleveland Man Critical After Being Shot in Head

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police are investigating after a 25-year-old Cleveland man was shot in the head on the city’s east side Thursday night.

According to police, it happened just before midnight in the area of East 110th Street and Mt. Carmel.

According to reports, the man was a passenger in a vehicle traveling through the area at the time. A witness who was in the same vehicle told police he did not hear any shots fired and did not have any information on a possible suspect.

The witness took the victim to the Cleveland Clinic, and he was then taken by medical helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The vehicle involved was towed, said police, and evidence was collected in the area of the shooting.

The victim is in critical condition, said police. No arrests have been made.
