BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (WTSP) -- Three 12-year-olds from Bay Village have the catch of a lifetime during a trip to Sarasota, Florida.
Wednesday, Sam Van Duhn and his two friends, Ryan Roberts and Tony Musca, were on a trip off of Longboat Pass in Florida.
A 692-pound Mako shark bit their bait, and they towed it to shore.
According to WTSP, marine researchers will actually study samples from the giant shark to research their speed, which can reach up to 30 miles per hour.
