Man Shot in Chest, Killed in Cleveland Break-In

CLEVELAND — Police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting on the city’s east side.

Authorities say the shooting occurred shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday in the 11000 block of Kinsman.

Police said a 27-year-old man was in his home when someone broke into his apartment and shot him in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, Cleveland police has no suspects.

The Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is investigating.
