CLEVELAND– John Travolta will be the latest actor coming to Cleveland to film a movie.

The Greater Cleveland Film Commission announced on Wednesday that ‘Criminal Activities’ will be filming in Cleveland.

The movie is set to begin filming later this spring in and around Cleveland, according to the film commission.

The movie tells the story of four young men reuniting at an ex-classmate’s funeral and one of them offering up inside information on a stock that’s guaranteed to make them instant millionaires; that is, until the deal goes south.

In a press release, producer Mark Johnson said, “The Ohio Incentive Program is a great opportunity for our Industry, coupled with a fantastic Cleveland Film Commission that understands our business and what we need to succeed; coupled with great locations and hard working crews make the Ohio Program tough to beat.”

Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘ and ‘Draft Day‘ were among the big movies recently shot in Cleveland.
