Woman Banned From Mall Busted with Bag Full of Stolen Items

PERKINS TWP., Ohio — A woman who police say is banned from the Sandusky Mall has been arrested after being caught with stolen merchandise from several area stores.

According to Perkins Township police, Ricca Rivers, 38, was arrested after police received a tip she was stealing merchandise from stores.

When officers found her vehicle parked at the Sandusky Mall, they saw Rivers Leaving the mall with a large bag of merchandise.

The bag contained items from several stores including Sears, JcPenney’s, Macy’s and Dollar Tree.

Rivers was taken to Erie County Jail and faces several charges.
