Police: Three Shot at Superior Avenue Bar

CLEVELAND – Three people were shot at Sweethearts Cafe on Superior Avenue early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a call of shots fired around 1:15 a.m. When they arrived they found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the foot. Witnesses told police that the victim got into an argument with another man. The suspect then pulled out a gun and shot him.

The victim was taken to St. Vincent Charity Hospital for treatment.

Cleveland police then received calls from University Hospitals informing them that two other men in their 20s arrived with gunshot wounds, both to the shins, claiming that they were also shot at Sweethearts Cafe. The men said they were not involved in the argument.

The shooting suspect was seen running on Superior.
