EXETER, ENGLAND — Moviegoers may have flooded to the first screening of “Noah” on Friday, but the screening of the recently-released film was canceled in England because of a very ironic scenario.

The screening at the Vue cinema was canceled because the theater flooded, according to the Huffington Post.

The staff closed the theater at 2 p.m., canceling the 12:15 p.m. screening, after an ice machine created a mess.

Many moviegoers found the incident funny and Tweeted about the irony.
