TOLEDO, Ohio– A 10-year-old girl is accused of taking the family car and crashing it into four other vehicles, according to WTOL.

The family said she was sleepwalking when it happened.

They said the girl has a developmental disability and is known to sleepwalk but has never done something like this before.

Police said the girl drove down the street several blocks and hit three parked cars and a semi.

They said when they got to the scene, she was scared and crying; no one was injured.

The child was cited for failure to control, not wearing a seatbelt and operating a vehicle without a license.

Police said that’s standard procedure so people can get help from their insurance companies.

The case could be thrown out.
