MANSFIELD, Ohio -- Police are investigating after a man's body was found on Hull Road in Mansfield Saturday morning.

According to police, a 76-year-old man noticed the man's body by a power pole as he was driving down the road.

The man, described to be in his teens or 20's, was found with his shirt up and his pants down around his knees around 9:30 a.m.

Police saw muddy tire tracks that came from a pull-off leading to a field near the body, according to the sheriff's report. The Bureau of Criminal Identification was called to the scene because of the suspicious circumstances surrounding the case.

Authorities are looking at the possibility that the man's death could be due to an overdose.

The victim did not have any identification on him, but the coroner found an Ohio Direction card in his back pocket that belongs to a woman in the Richland County Jail.

According to the sheriff's report, the boyfriend of the woman who owned the card had a tattoo matching the description of the victim.

The major crimes unit is now investigating.
