Ever wonder why your child likes a certain cereal? Is it the sugary sweet taste, the prize, or maybe something else?

According to a study from Cornell University’s Food and Brand Lab, it may be because of some eye-catching placement.

The study found that the cereals are placed on lower shelves and feature characters that look downward toward children; so the characters look like they’re actually making eye contact with your child.

They studied 65 different types of cereal.
