Antifreeze Murder Suspect Released on Bond
ASHTABULA, Ohio – A woman accused of killing her husband with antifreeze has been released from jail on a $250,00 personal recognizance bond.
A judge granted the bond for Teresa Kotomski following her arraignment on charges of murder.
Agents with the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Ashtabula Sheriff’s deputies believe Kotomski killed her husband Raymond in 2009.
She was secretly indicted last week and arrested Friday. She declined to talk to investigators about the case.
At first, Raymond’s death was ruled “undetermined,” but in 2012 BCI was asked to investigate and determined someone intentionally poisoned him with antifreeze.
In September of 2012, when BCI announced they were reopening the Kotomski case, Fox 8′s I-Team went to Teresa Kotomski’s house to ask her about her deceased husband’s death, and she slammed the door on us.
