HOUSTON, Texas — Billions of voracious ants are about to arrive in Houston, Texas, according to Fox News.

According to reports, the “Raspberry Crazy Ants” are cousins of fire ants.

Once they invade a home, they chew through electrical systems and insulation, according to Fox News, along with laptops, water pumps and gas meters.

They’re usually dormant until late April, then show up when the heat rises.

One exterminator says he’s been in homes where every time he took a step, he’d step on thousands of the ants.
