CLEVELAND--It's a $1.6 million project aimed at giving drivers a smoother ride.

Potholes have beat up a lot of tires and cars this winter.

Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald introduced a bill to fix West 117th St. from Bellaire Rd. to Lake Ave. in the cities of Cleveland and Lakewood.

This is more than a quick fix; it's a big project.

FitzGerald said he's confident the bill will be approved and hopes it will happen by April.
