The Cleveland Indians final roster is taking shape. The team announced a few roster moves with Opening Day against the Oakland A’s only 7 days away on March 31:

**Right hander Trevor Bauer, who was part of the battle for the 5th spot in the starting pitching rotation, was sent to AAA Columbus, along with reliever C.C. Lee.

**Outfielder Michael Bourn, who has been dealing with an injured hamstring was placed on the 15-day disabled list, backdated to March 21. That means he will open the season on the disabled list. Terry Francona said it was important for him to be 100% and to build up properly to that level before testing the hamstring in any games. Michael Brantley is expected to play center field in his place

**The team also announced that Lonnie Chisenhall and Nyjer Morgan made the Opening Day roster. Chisenhall will see enough action at the hot corner, with catch/dh Carlos Santana also expected to play a few games a week at third base. Chisenhall celebrated the news by hitting a second-inning homer in the Cactus League game in Goodyear, Arizona.

**The team also re-assigned infielders David Cooper and Byran LaHair to the minor league camp.
