CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 16-year-old boy has been hospitalized after reportedly being assaulted by a group of males at a bus stop Tuesday.

According to Cleveland police, officers received a call around 5 p.m. reporting that a male was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital after being assaulted.

Police said the teen was taken to the hospital by a Good Samaritan after the incident.

The boy told his father and a coworker that he left Castle Community High School on Superior Ave. and was near a bus stop when he was attacked by seven males whom he could not identify.

He also did not have a description of the suspects.

A person driving in the area reportedly saw the boy bleeding, pulled over and while on the way to the hospital, called his mother.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police.
