God awful company to work for. Treats employees horribly and only 3 in a store at a time. I worked in the norwalk location and a friend worked in westlake, we were managers. Please do not apply.

They pay you well but you are doing the work of three people, they will sabotage you and call it training. They encourage employee confrontation and reward those who bully others.

3/4 of your shift will be spent in a freezer trying to put food in the danger zone away that is why the boxes are always frosted over they have thawed and then been refrozen. You will be expected to stock, ring, clean, and perform other duties. You will have a 12 hour list with 8 hours to finish and 5 hours of distractions. Your supervisor will time you with a stopwatch in front of others….it is horrible.

Wow really? I’ve been working at Aldi for 17 years, and not once have I ever experienced any of the absurd things mentioned above. Encourage bullying? Uh… no. Selling thawed out food? Uh… no. Working you to death? No, not really.

Yes, you DO stock and ring out and work in the back, but it’s a job, it’s what you are supposed to do, especially for $17.75 an hour! They tell you before you agree to work there what to expect. Don’t complain! There are NOT that many jobs around here anymore that pay $15+ an hour that AREN’T sweatshop factories!

Aldis should hang posters in Cleveland so the blacks can get a job, oh wait, they make more on welfare….
