CLEVELAND- Interstate 480 westbound near the I-71 split looked more like a disaster area on Wednesday afternoon.

911 calls started coming in after the multi-vehicle crashes during the winter storm.
"There's a massive pileup! How many cars? I see two semis, some trucks. I'd have to say there's at least 20 cars."

At Kufner Towing on Ridge Road in Cleveland, the back lot was completely full on Thursday morning.

The company said it was first on the scene of the massive pile-up, towing everything from Fords to PT Cruisers to vans.

At least seven people were injured in the crashes. The portion of the highway was shut down for hours.

Technically, they should. Most people at that time were driving too fast for conditions. People forget the basic physics behind driving.
The distance to stop increases when the roads are slippery, and if you are closer than the distance it will take you to stop, then you increase your risk of being in an accident.
