Troopers: Marijuana Odor Leads to Pill Bust
SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol said when troopers stopped a man for speeding on the Turnpike in Summit County they found 500 hydrocodone pills and a small amount of marijuana.
The street value amounted to about $5,000.
Terence Lee, 48, of Washington, Pa., was charged with possession of a schedule II substance and trafficking in drugs.
Both are third degree felonies.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said when troopers stopped Lee Sunday evening, they detected a burnt marijuana odor coming from his vehicle, which prompted the search.
The pills were found in an unmarked pill bottle.
