The Charlotte Bobcats improved to 3-0 versus the Cavaliers this season thanks to  a 101-92 win Friday night down in North Carolina.

The Cavaliers led 81-80 with 7:55 left in the game on a Dion Waiters free throw, but Charlotte’s Kemba Walker made 2 free throws, and then a basket, and the home team was able to distance themselves from the Cavs down the stretch for the win.

The Cavs were paced by Dion Waiters and Luol Deng with 19 apiece, while All Star Kyrie Irving, and Spencer Hawes each chipped in with 13 markers. Irving struggled from the field, shooting just 5 of 17.

Cavs made just 3 of 17 three pointers, while Charlotte was 9 of 29.

The Cavs are back in action on Saturday night, hosting the Knicks, when the team retires Zyrdrunas Ilgauskas #11 jersey.
