AKRON, Ohio — A northeast Ohio organization is hosting a drive to give free gowns to teens in need.

The fourth annual Teen Gown Giveaway and Donation Drive will be held Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Relentless Church in Akron. The church is located at 1878 Killian Road.

The drive and giveaway is being hosted by Ready Dress Go, formerly Garments of Splendor. The organization gives young women free gowns, jewelry, shoes and other accessories as well as food and beverages as they choose their items. Each year, the drive serves more than 100 local families.

Ready Dress Go is still accepting donations for the drive. Gowns from 2010 and beyond in any size and color, purses, jewelry, shoes in excellent condition and other accessories will be accepted. All Summit County YMCA and Young’s Screenprinting locations are accepting donations through the month of March.
