Man Arrested, Accused of Pawning Elderly Client’s Watch

EASTLAKE, Ohio — A Mentor man was arrested after being accused of stealing a Rolex watch from an elderly man under his care.

According to Eastlake police, Nicholas Buckley, 25, faces a charge of receiving stolen property in the case.

Police said he was employed as a senior care giver for an 87-year-old man in Orange Village. He’s accused of stealing a Rolex from the man in January and pawning it for $800.

Buckley was unable to post $5,000 bond and was taken to Lake County Jail.

The watch was returned to the owner, according to police.
