Cavs Fall to Wizards, Lose Second Game in a Row

CLEVELAND, Ohio — After winning six straight games, the Cavaliers have lost two in a row after the Washington Wizards beat Cleveland 96-83 Sunday.

The Cavs were outscored in every quarter of the game, except the third, when both teams scored 20 points.

Luol Deng led the way for Cleveland with 17 points, Spencer Hawes had 16 and 12 rebounds, Kyrie Irving had 15 points, and Tristan Thompson had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Cleveland had two leads in the game. Their largest lead was 5 points early in the first quarter.

The Cavs are 22-35, 14-14 at home and return to action on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena.
