BRUNSWICK, Ohio–A woman is accused of throwing steaks at a Giant Eagle worker.

Brunswick police said they were called out to the Center Rd. store on Feb. 8 at around 11 a.m.

The call came in about an irate customer throwing grocery items at an employee.

Police said their investigation revealed Frances Slyman, 44, went to the meat counter to get some special cut filets.

At some point, they said, Slyman threw two of the filets at the worker because of an alleged comment the employee made to Slyman’s husband.

Officers arrested Slyman; she was charged with assault.

She was later released from the Brunswick Police Department jail.
