BELLVILLE, Ohio-- It's been so cold and snowy here in Northeast Ohio, you could build your own snowman or even a skating rink! Or, how about an igloo?

That's exactly what Bellville, Ohio father, Dan Walls, built in the yard for his kids.

While the snow piled up and the temperatures dipped, Dan was outside building the masterpiece for his three children.

It took almost three weeks for him to make the ice blocks; he even used food coloring and wired the igloo so it would light up at night!

In an interview via Skype, his wife, Vanessa, said, "He would freeze 20 buckets of water every night. The kids would pick out the food coloring of what color the blocks would be and every morning we'd wake up, they would already be frozen from the weather being so negative that he would dump the ice and fill them up again with water and we would, again, put food coloring in them!"

Vanessa said a lot of curious neighbors are driving by to look at the igloo.

As long as the temperatures stay below freezing, she said it's a great place for the family to hang out and enjoy some hot chocolate.
