CLEVELAND, Ohio — Beatles fans from all over the country braved the snow to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Sunday.

Several special events were held in honor of the Beatles’ appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” 50 years ago.

Events included a special lecture on the Beatles and American rock and roll, plus an up-close look at some Beatles instruments.

The museum unveiled John Lennon’s Rickenbacker electric guitar that he purchased for the Beatles’ second appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”
