CLEVELAND, Ohio — A man accused of ramming an officer’s vehicle and escaping during a prostitution sting was arraigned Thursday.

Dwayne Fair Jr. pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder, felonious assault, criminal damaging, promoting prostitution and failure to comply. He was issued $500,000 bond in the case.

Authorities said Fair got away from law enforcement officers while they were trying to arrest him last month during a prostitution sting at a hotel in Independence.

Fair allegedly rammed the officer’s vehicles before he got away. Law enforcement officers fired their weapons but ultimately weren’t able to arrest him.
