Cleveland Snow Plan: Extra Road Crews Out
CLEVELAND– The winter storm hitting Northeast Ohio is making for a rough morning commute in some areas.
ODOT District 12 is fully staffed with 80 crews in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties. Crews will continue to work around-the-clock plowing and salting roadways.
The City of Cleveland has 50 snow plows and 12 road graders out on the main streets.
City of Cleveland said there will not be any closures or delayed start time for city personnel. All city personnel should report for their regularly scheduled shift.
26 traffic control officers and police officers will be stationed at key locations to help keep traffic moving this morning.
A snow emergency parking ban is in effect in Cleveland. That means drivers cannot park on designated streets, marked with red and white snow route signs.
