Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Bedford Hit-Skip

BEDFORD, Ohio — Bedford police are looking for the suspect in a hit-skip accident that left a pedestrian in serious condition Sunday night.

According to police, it happened just before 7 p.m. on Warrensville Center Road near Elm Street.

The vehicle hit the pedestrian and left the scene heading south on Warrensville Center Road. The vehicle was described as a dark blue SUV.

The pedestrian is a female and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the vehicle involved is asked to call the Bedford Police Department.
