CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police are investigating after shots were fired into the Pearl Road fire station Thursday night.

Second district officers were called to the firehouse, 3765 Pearl Road, around 8:30 p.m. to reports of two shots fired.

Firefighters said they’d just parked a fire vehicle and were exiting the truck when they heard two shots. One shot went through the front window of the firehouse and went through a rear window.

The other shot struck the front of a fire truck.

The firefighters did not see a suspect, and no one was injured.

Police said it was actually the second report of shots fired in the area. The first was on Jan. 1. No evidence of damage was found during that earlier incident, police said.
