Please keep us updated. I personally know that people in the area are trying to reach out to this neighborhood, especially the teens there.

James, who was it? My husband tried calling a contact we had over there and his phone said that the person is no longer receiving calls. We want to believe the best, but it’s hard.

Lee, Are you Alex’s little brother? I am a teacher at Rhodes and we were wondering what plans have been made so we can show our respect to you and your family. My prayers go out to you and your family.

My prayers are extended to the family, friends, classmates, and my fellow colleagues at James F. Rhodes High School. This is a time of grief, unclarity, and full of emotions. It is crucial that we allow the proper authorities to fully investigate this matter. All the hear say and comments only make matters worst. The hallway chatters and the facebooking of theories of what occurred should cease. To our parents, please have open conversations with your children and be cautious of any changed patterns. Encourage your children to seek counseling if need be, whether in the community or with the Crisis Team at school.
