Editors admit it was certainly an unconventional choice!

Esquire Magazine named Pope Francis the “Best Dressed Man of 2013.”

Editors cited the Pope’s modest attire, his attitude and his modern take on the Catholic Church as their reasoning for giving him the top spot. The Pope recently made headlines for admitting to sneaking out of his apartment to visit with the community. He has
3 million followers on Twitter and was also named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Pope Francis, who was elected the first pope from South America, beat out Hollywood heartthrobs like Bradley Cooper, Chris Pine and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
