Man Accused of Searching Cars in Willoughby

WILLOUGHBY, OH —  Police are asking for the public’s help in their search for a man accused of entering cars at several different residences last weekend.

According to Willoughby police, cars on Oakdale Avenue, Crestwood Avenue and Ridge Road were targeted on December 21.

One of the residents had several surveillance cameras posted outside the home, which caught the man in the act.

He could be seen entering a sedan and searching the vehicle with a flashlight. The man tried to enter two other vehicles in the driveway without success.
