My Town: ‘World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour’ Train Show

CLEVELAND — The IX Center is prepping for the return of “The World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour” show.

The show is returning to northeast Ohio for the first time since 2009 on January 4 and 5. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets for two-day adult admission is $12, $11 for Saturday only and $10 for Sunday only admission. Kids and teens 15 and under are free.

The model train show selects 4 to 6 cities to travel to each year, and selected cities will not be chosen for another 5 to 10 years. The IX Center is hosting more than 200 booths from manufacturers and hobby shops, and free kiddie train rides on Thomas the Tank Engine.
