Man Killed in Possible Attempted Robbery

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a deadly possible attempted robbery on the city’s east side.

Authorities say they initially responded to a 911 call for a male shot at the 4300 block of E. 141st Street around midnight Wednesday. The victim, Anderson Houston Jr., 22, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died.

According to Cleveland police, the shooting may have occurred as a result of an attempted robbery. A witness on scene reported the shooter fled the scene in car with another male.
