Indians Mourn Loss of Long-Time Broadcaster

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Indians are remembering long-time broadcaster Mike Hegan, after he passed away Christmas morning, which the team posted on its Twitter account.

Hegan spend 50 years in the game of baseball, 23 of which he spent covering the Indians on both TV and radio.

He was also the son of legendary Indians catcher, Jim Hegan.

According to the Cleveland Indians, he passed away in Hilton Head, South Carolina with his family by his side.

He was 71-years-old.
