Police: Woman Hits 5 People With Car

AKRON– A woman is accused of hitting five other women with her car after a fight.

According to Akron police, officers were called out to a large fight at Cole Ave. and Hammel St. at 5:30am, Saturday morning.

Five women told police they were intentionally hit with a car driven by Roamonaye Carr; one of those women was Carr’s sister.

Three of the women were taken to local hospitals; the other two were treated on scene.

Officers found Carr, 18, near the intersection of 6th Ave. and Talbot Ave.

Her car, a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, was towed and police said Carr was charged with five counts of felonious assault and driving without a license.

She was booked into the Summit County Jail.
