CLEVELAND-- Cleveland police are looking into a hit-and-run accident that left a 13-year-old girl with a broken leg.

Police said on Friday, Dec. 13, just before 3 p.m., the girl was walking home from the bus stop on Union Ave. at East 110th St., when a minivan, heading westbound on Union, hit the child in the curb lane, and kept on going.

The suspect's car is described as a dark-colored (possibly maroon) Dodge Caravan or Ford Windstar, possibly from the early 2000s.

Police said any damage would likely be in the right front portion of the car and would be minimal.

They ask anyone with information about the incident to call (216) 623-5295.

My prayers go out to this little girl and her family. Who could hit a kid and run. I hope they catch whom ever did this. I say come forward you coward. How would you feel if she was your child. Think about it. It was a accident. Do the right thing….PLEASE!
