YOU SOUND QUITE IGNORANT. YOU DIDNT PAY FOR THE PIC WHICH IS THE ONLY THING ANY OTHER POLITICAL LEADER ESPECIALLY THE PRESIDENT WOULDNT HAVE BEEN EXPECTED TO DO. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE WETHER HE WANTED TO OR NOT WHICH IS WHY YOU SAW OTHERS THERE LIKE CARTER BUSH AND CLINTON.. ITS CALLED RESPECT PEOPLE GROW UP ALREADY!

I would too. get over it ppl they are human just like us. don’t act like you wouldn’t . yes it was at a funeral. but we are to celebrate their life and have a good time. just like the athletes. behind the game. they all talk and have a life .

No dont think so.One of the most inappropriate things to do at someones funeral. How ridiculous just when i thought u couldnt be hated more. Disgusting !

That is the most disrespectful thing I have seen such a person do. He is representing our country at a memorial for such a leader as Mandella was and yet he takes out a cell phone and snaps pictures?? Not a way I want to be represented at all!! I am totally disgusted at that behavior. As for you saying he is human and you would do it too, no I would not! That is not the time nor place to do such a thing and a national leader should know better. He should make way better choices when representing his nation!!

  • Disgusted

Gary, the things that Mandella accomplished and changed for the good he deserved it. That is a place I would expect the President to go and show his sympathy. It is only right he go.

Im not into politic’s but the idea of Obama doing this is disgusting and shows he has no sence of morals. Taking a selfie at a memorial ..Come on now.. So disrespectful and he needs to get over himself. He should have more respect then that. Just shows his intellegence.. NONE

    • MThomas

I think you mean sense and not sence. And if you are going to question someones intelligence, you should spell it correctly so you don’t get called out on yours.

alright come on, if I’m sitting next to the prime ministers of denmark and great britain, you wouldn’t take a pic with these? Psh.. come on..

Good thing you have the affordable care act to help you take care of that sickness you’ve got going on there Sue. Really? It made you sick? I have no vomit left. Like a kid gets desensitized to violence by playing video games, I am desensitized to acts by this president. It’s been a long six years….wake me up when it’s over?

  • John

Please people of the world . DO NOT LOOK AT THIS PRESIDENT AS A REPRESENTATION OF OUR COUNTRY HE IS A JOKE WITH A BAD PUNCH LINE !!!!

just sayin….but all you guys are saying how disrespectful Obama is but what about the other two prime ministers who were involved in the pic. are England and Denmark’s being disrespectful too? have the people in their country’s complained? why haven’t you guys said anything about them? why so one sided? just an observation. again just sayin.

Dont care about England and Denmark because i dont live so thats why they are not mentioned but yes they are being completely disrespectful too.

    • mojo

Denmark and whomever were disrespectful, but they weren’t sitting next to an embarrassed spouse. For me that is funny…..like a disapproving mother in church.

you know i dont care what that man does you are always going find something wrong about him. what ever he does, whatever he says,, whatever he voice his opion on, he will be wrong in someone’s eyes. it’s sad that this country is like it is really sad. maybe if some of you step back and take a look at yourself maybe you won’t be so quick to judge someone.
just like they done lebron james.

and we wonder why these kids are like they are today.

what a “SICK” world we live in

    GOD help us all.

    • fruitfly

This is awful and disrespectful for anyone to do in a setting like that.Dose not matter who it is it could be a normal everyday person and it would still be horrible to do at a memorial .

  • trav

i like how no one comments on the person taking the picture of obama taking a picture… why wasn’t he watching the show (memorial)?
