CLEVELAND– Thanks to the generosity of two local organizations, your donations to the Cleveland Foodbank will go twice as far in December.

Representatives from the Greater Cleveland Auto Dealers Association presented a check for $50,000 to the foodbank on Thursday. The funds will be used as part of a larger matching gift challenge; every dollar donated from the public to the foodbank from now until Dec. 31 will be matched until a total of $150,000 is raised to fight hunger in Northeast Ohio.

Dominion East Ohio Gas also donated a check; they gave $25,000 to the foodbank.
