Black Friday is known for deals on Big Screen TVs while Cyber Monday is the day to snag super savings on clothing and shoes.

That doesn't mean there aren't more bargains to come in and around the holiday season, especially on the better brands of televisions and tablets.

"Premium high end TVs, those actually get better starting in December, moving into January and even February," said Mark LoCastro from DealNews.com, where numbers are crunched on all things related to shopping.

LoCastro said consumers are also in luck if they haven't yet shopped for toys.

"You're looking at better deals and discounts come December, specifically two weeks before Christmas," he said.

Retailers are known for running promotional sales on small appliances throughout the month of December. It's also the best month to buy tools and automobiles.

According to FatWallet.com, shoppers can also create their own sales by making purchases through cash-back websites. Rebates can return as much as 25% to customers at close to a 100 retailers through the end of the year.
