PERKINS TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A woman who told police she was headed to the store to get a pop caused quite a spill at a convenience store.

Around 4 p.m. Sunday, she allegedly plowed into the Hy-Miler on Columbus Avenue in Perkins Township, tipping at least two beverage coolers.

Pictures showed dozens of bottles broken on the floor plus damage to the exterior wall.

Teresa Borough, 42, said her foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator.  According to a Perkins Township police report, she smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking a couple of shots of whiskey.

Borough was charged with OVI and failure to control a motor vehicle.  She was also placed under an administrative license suspension.

No one was hurt.  The store was closed for the night for safety reasons.
