Driver Killed in Three-Car Crash

STOW, OH — Authorities are investigating a deadly crash that killed an Aurora man Friday night.

According to Stow police, the accident happened just before 11:30 p.m. on S.R. 8 just north of the Seasons Road entrance ramp.

Police say the right front corner of a silver Chevrolet Cobalt driven by a 34-year-old man from Aurora struck the left rear corner of a Volvo semi unit operated by a 34-year-old man from Canton. The left front of a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse being driven by a 21-year-old female from Akron was also damaged.

The driver of the Cobalt was pronounced dead at the hospital. His identity has not been released.

The driver of the Eclipse was transported and treated for unknown injuries. Her condition has not been released. The driver of the semi truck was not injured.

No charges have been filed at this time.
