LODI, OH — The junior varsity basketball coach at Cloverleaf High School is using his hair to bring hope to children in need.

It started when Lance Price’s son had to go to the Cleveland Clinic. While at the hospital, Coach Price saw many children that were sick and he wanted to help out in a unique way.

Wednesday, after two years of growing his hair, Coach Price shaved his head between the JV and varsity basketball games.

Thanks to generous donations from students, family and friends, more than $1,000 has been raised so far for Wigs for Kids.

Coach Price says he’ll be keeping his beard until at least Thanksgiving.
